Conor Molloy

I design and carry out player research that addresses key business challenges, then translate that research into strategies to improve the product or approach of the business.

I am the lead researcher for Narrative at King and I am also the head researcher for a currently unannounced narrative focused new title. This has given me an excellent understanding of player response to narrative content and systems. In this role, I help teams to design, improve and implement narrative systems to improve player engagement and enhance the story, world and emotions of our games without detracting from the players experience.

At my own request, I have also been directly involved in the narrative craft at King by shadowing the Narrative team on multiple projects. This has resulted in me gaining experience in creative brainstorming, writing dialogue and collaborating to craft story and world, and has given me practical experience in the day-to-day structure of the role.

I am experienced in collaborating across different teams in a games company in order to overcome hurdles and arrive at the best outcomes for the company as a whole.
